How to get your TikTok stream key for OBS
To stream to TikTok LIVE from OBS or Streamlabs you need two things from TikTok: a server URL and a stream key. TikTok gives them to eligible accounts in LIVE Producer. Here is who qualifies, where to find them, and what to do if your account has no key yet.
What you need first
1,000 followers
TikTok LIVE, and the stream key with it, opens up once an account reaches about 1,000 followers. Below that, the option to stream from a computer does not appear.
18 or older
TikTok LIVE is limited to accounts of adults. Your account’s birth date decides it, not a setting you can change.
A stream, from the web
The key is handed out when you start a broadcast in TikTok LIVE Producer in a browser on a computer — not from the phone app.
Where to find the key
1 · Open TikTok LIVE Producer
On a computer, go to TikTok in a browser and open LIVE Producer (the desktop streaming page). Log in with the account you stream from.
2 · Start a stream with OBS as the source
Choose to go live with streaming software. TikTok then shows a Server URL and a Stream Key for this session.
3 · Paste both into OBS
In OBS: Settings → Stream → Service “Custom”. Put the Server URL in Server and the Stream Key in Stream Key, and start streaming.
4 · Start the broadcast on TikTok
Back in LIVE Producer, once OBS is sending, press Go LIVE. Your OBS scene, overlays and all, is now your TikTok LIVE.
The key is per session: TikTok issues a new one each time you go live, and an old one stops working. Never share it — anyone who has it can broadcast to your account until it expires.
No stream key on your account? You can still go live with overlays
Two routes need no stream key at all. Both take your TokElements overlay as they are — one link, everything you built on it.
TikTok LIVE Studio
TikTok’s own free desktop app streams your screen and camera without a key. Add your overlay to it as a Link source and it goes out on stream. This is the route most people use.
Grow to 1,000 followers
The key unlocks by itself at the follower threshold. Until then, LIVE Studio gives you the same overlay on stream, so nothing about your setup has to change later.
The overlay is the part TikTok does not give you

How do I get a TikTok stream key?
Open TikTok LIVE Producer in a browser on a computer, start a stream with streaming software, and TikTok shows a Server URL and Stream Key for that session. You need about 1,000 followers and an adult account for the option to appear.
Why is there no stream key on my account?
The key only appears for accounts that can use TikTok LIVE — roughly 1,000 followers and 18 or older. Under that, there is no key to find. You can still go live with overlays through TikTok LIVE Studio.
Can a browser extension or script get me a key without the followers?
No. The key comes from TikTok’s own LIVE Producer only, and anything that tries to route around that requirement breaks TikTok’s terms and risks your account. If you do not have LIVE access yet, use LIVE Studio instead.
Do I need a stream key to use TokElements?
No. TokElements is the overlay layer, not the streaming connection. It works whether you stream from OBS with a key or from TikTok LIVE Studio without one — your overlay is a single link either way.
Does the stream key expire?
Yes. TikTok issues a fresh key every time you start a broadcast, and the previous one stops working. Copy the current one into OBS each session, and never share it.
